Congregation Mikveh Israel is in the heart of Old City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Within a few minutes walk from our synagogue you can visit the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross House, and the National Constitution Center, just to name a few of the historic attractions.
Located less than a block away from Congregation Mikveh Israel is the National Museum of American Jewish History. Established in 1976 by Congregation Mikveh Israel and sharing the same building, the Museum moved into its new building in 2010. It is is the only Museum in the nation dedicated exclusively to exploring and interpreting the American Jewish experience.
