The National Museum of American Jewish History
Located less than a block away from Congregation Mikveh Israel is the National Museum of American Jewish History. Established in 1976 by Congregation Mikveh Israel and sharing the same building, the Museum moved into its new building in 2010. It is is the only Museum in the nation dedicated exclusively to exploring and interpreting the American Jewish experience.
Congregation Mikveh Israel and the Museum are proud to bring visitors the opportunity to spend a weekend fully exploring the Jewish experience. We have partnered together to bring visitors a package that will allow visitors to spend Shabbat at Mikveh Israel with kosher Shabbat meals and visit the Museum on Sunday.
